Offer | £40,000 - £50,000 Hi Our client is looking for a hands on Maintenance Manager to take ownership of all site maintenance, ensuring equipment, plant and facilities are operating efficiently and safely. This is a key role supporting day to day operations, continuous improvement and compliance across the site. As a Maintenance Manager, you will: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the site maintenance programme
* Manage engineering stock, including spare parts, tools and consumables
* Order parts and materials as required to minimise downtime
* Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns in line with operational needs
* Organise and manage contractors for repairs, servicing and compliance activities
* Attend and respond to call outs when required
* Support research and development of new plant and equipment
* Ensure all monitoring, testing and compliance requirements are met in line with site permits
* Coordinate waste removal and general site requirements
* Support wider site operations as needed
What we’re looking for: * Strong experience in maintenance within an industrial or plant environment
* Experience with shredder repairs and refurbishment, including cutter replacement
* Ability to service and maintain forklift trucks
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding skills
* Welding experience and ability to carry out repairs
* Experience maintaining roller shutter doors and general site equipment
* Proven ability to manage contractors and maintenance schedules
* Hands on, proactive and solutions focused approach
