Job Description:
A distinguished opportunity has emerged for an Oracle Financials Functional Subject Matter Expert to join a highly esteemed financial institution in London. This position is ideally suited to an individual who excels in supporting and refining critical business systems, thereby ensuring operational excellence and the highest standards of data integrity across the organisation’s Oracle E-Business Suite.
The roleholder will bring extensive experience acquired from previous full life cycle implementations of Oracle Financials modules-particularly those related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable or Fixed Assets. Your background should reflect not only technical acumen but also an aptitude for communicating complex matters clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. You will have refined your abilities in analysing multifaceted business requirements and translating them into practical solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Experience developing comprehensive test plans ensures that any modifications are thoroughly validated prior to deployment. Your foundational SQL knowledge enables you to address issues independently while your grasp of accounting principles provides valuable context when assisting finance teams. Above all else your dedication to continuous learning ensures adaptability as new technologies emerge within the banking sector.
Experience required:
*Demonstrable full life cycle implementation experience for Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable or Fixed Assets.
*A proven record of providing production support for Oracle E-Business Suite R12 within a financial services or comparable environment is highly desirable.
*Substantial hands-on experience configuring Oracle Financials modules including General Ledger/Payables/Assets; familiarity with E-Business Tax is strongly preferred.
*The ability to gather, analyse, document, and manage business requirements effectively while converting them into actionable system specifications that fulfil organisational objectives.
*Exemplary verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across diverse teams within the organisation.
*Competence in developing test scripts/scenarios for user acceptance testing (UAT) as well as performing rigorous system validation activities is required.
*Basic proficiency in SQL is necessary for troubleshooting interface projects or resolving user requests efficiently within the Oracle ecosystem.
