Secondary School English Teacher
Teaching Personnel are recruiting Qualified English Teachers for full time, long term placements across a range of secondary schools in South Manchester, including Trafford, Sale, Chorlton, Didsbury, Stretford, Urmston and surrounding areas.
These roles are ideal for teachers seeking stability, consistency and the opportunity to embed within a school, with many placements offering temp-to-perm potential from September.
We are supporting multiple partner schools with ongoing vacancies, creating opportunities for ECTs and experienced English teachers to secure rewarding long-term posts matched to their strengths, commute and career goals.
The Role
As a long-term English Teacher, you will:
*Deliver high quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Plan, teach and assess in line with the national curriculum
*Maintain strong classroom behaviour and engagement
*Support mixed ability learners
*Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life
*Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Contract Details
*Type: Full time, long term
*Start: Immediate & September starts available
*Pay: Long term roles paid to scale (MPS / UPS), weekly via PAYE
*Location: Secondary schools across South Manchester
Requirements
*QTS (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)
*Secondary English teaching experience (KS3 & KS4)
*Strong subject knowledge and behaviour management
*Ability to commit to a full time, long term placement
*Willingness to commute within South Manchester
