Branch Manager - £35,000, Blackpool
A client of ours, a well-respected financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced Direct Distribution Branch Manager to lead one of their key branches. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven branch leader to make a real impact in their local community, drive growth, and develop a high-performing team.
The Role
You will be responsible for all aspects of branch performance - from achieving business objectives and ensuring regulatory compliance to delivering exceptional member service. You’ll be the visible face of the branch, building relationships with the community, creating partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities.
What Our Client is Looking For
*Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a senior customer-facing leadership role
*Strong track record of delivering growth, achieving targets, and leading high-performing team.
*Excellent commercial awareness and ability to spot new business opportunities
*Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
*Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, operational controls, and risk management
*Leadership or Management qualification
Key Responsibilities
*Drive branch performance and deliver against business objectives
*Ensure all activities comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
*Oversee quality assurance checks and maintain operational controls
*Handle member queries and complaints efficiently and professionally
*Build strong community relationships and develop new partnerships
*Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement within the team
*Manage HR processes, including performance reviews, absence, and development planning
