We have an exciting opportunity to join the Enabling Team in Engineering Technical Services (ETS) at Southern Water as a Senior Environmental Advisor. In this role, you will provide expert environmental risk management support across a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring sustainable and responsible design, maintenance, and construction processes. You will play a key role in delivering environmental solutions that protect water resources, enhance ecosystems, and contribute to long-term sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:
*Provide environmental risk management and technical support throughout project lifecycles.
*Conduct and oversee environmental surveys, assessments, and mitigation strategies.
*Manage environmental sub-contractors and contribute to stakeholder engagement.
*Ensure compliance with environmental laws, planning legislation, and best practices.


Skills & Competencies:
*Degree/Master’s in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field.
*Reasonable level of experience in environmental consultancy or similar.
*Working towards or membership of a professional institute (chartered status desirable).
*Strong written communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
