Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools | Northampton, Daventry, Towcester Looking to step into the classroom and make a real impact—without needing a teaching qualification (yet)? This is your opportunity.
We are working with a range of vibrant, forward-thinking secondary schools across Daventry and the wider Northamptonshire area who are searching for confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join their teams.
Why this role?As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of the school day—leading lessons, supporting students, and keeping learning on track when teachers are absent. No two days are the same, and every day is a chance to inspire.

What you’ll be doing:*Delivering pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects
*Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and positivity
*Keeping students engaged, focused, and motivated
*Supporting a safe and productive learning environment
*Building strong relationships with students and staff
What we’re looking for:*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Confidence leading a classroom (experience with young people is ideal)
*Adaptability and a proactive attitude
*A passion for education and supporting young people
*A degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)
