Food Technician
*Location - Southport, PR8
*Type of work - Part Time (3-4 days per week)
*Start date - April 2026
*Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
*Assisting with lessons: Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.
*Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
*Practical work: would involve assisting the food technology teacher with cleaning/preparing for the lesson, including assisting during practical’s.
*Monitoring well-being: Keeping an eye on students’ overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
*Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required
Requirements:
*Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
*Previous experience working with young people.
To be eligible:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
*Provide two professional references/cover 24 months work with references
