We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the finance team to one of our clients. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy a role with variety.

What you will be doing as the Accounts Assistant:
*Process daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts
*Maintain accurate accounting records and financial data
*Manage accounts payable and receivable activities
*Perform bank and supplier reconciliations
*Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
*Assist with month-end reporting, audits, and financial queries
Key skills and Requirements:
*At least 1-year recent experience as Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper or similar role
*AAT part-qualified or working towards AAT / CIMA (desirable not essential)
*Comfortable working directly with clients and attending client visits
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
