Job Title: Cable Assembler
Location: Braintree, Essex
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm, Excellent Long-Term Opportunity
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + bonus scheme
Days: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

Key Duties:
*Follow written work order / detailed work instructions / manual handling training & Health and safety procedures
*Observe high level of cleanliness. Clean up / put away each day.
*Use of hand tools - Measuring to length, cutting and stripping cable, soldering, wrapping.
*Write concessions and mark-up works orders when required.
*Follow test and inspection procedure: Performing electrical insulation & continuity testing. Visual checks for cuts, abrasions, marks, cracks, dents, scratches, surface finish & cleanliness.
Requirements:
*On the job training will be given.
*Good physically health and eyesight - some heavy lifting required.
*Flexible approach to work, in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demands.
*Comfortable using IT systems
*Good level of English (reading and writing)
*Strong attention to detail, autonomy and team spirit
*Knowledge of aeronautics regulations is desirable but not essential
