Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Long-Term)
Start Date: 20th April 2026
End Date: 17th July 2026 (End of Summer Term)
Salary: £180 - £240 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week

They are seeking a dedicated DT specialist to join their innovative Creative Arts and Technology department for the summer term.
The RoleAs a Design & Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire creativity and technical precision. This role requires a subject specialist who can navigate the curriculum with confidence, ensuring students across Key Stages 3 and 4 are engaged and making consistent progress.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging DT lessons, including Resistant Materials, Graphics, and/or Engineering.
*Foster a culture of high expectations through effective classroom and behaviour management.
*Utilise your subject expertise to support GCSE students through their final assessments and practical projects.
*Work collaboratively with a department that values innovation and shared best practices.
What We Are Looking For*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS: Mandatory for this role.
*Subject Specialist: A deep understanding of the KS3 and KS4 DT curriculum and experience with workshop safety and equipment.
*Engagement Experts: Someone who can bring the subject to life and engage students of all abilities.
*Behaviour Management: Proven ability to maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom environment in line with our school’s high standards.
*DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service
