We are recruiting a SEND Outreach Worker to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across primary and secondary settings in Halifax. This is a dynamic, hybrid position combining in-school support, outreach work, and multi-agency collaboration.
The Role
You will:
*Work directly with SEND pupils in both primary and secondary schools
*Deliver targeted interventions and tailored support strategies
*Build strong relationships with families and school staff
*Attend review meetings and multi-agency meetings
*Deliver training and guidance where required
*Travel between education settings across the area
*Work flexibly to attend meetings or undertake specific duties, which may occasionally fall outside of standard school hours


Essential Criteria
*Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (or higher)
*Recent experience working in a primary or secondary school setting
*Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practices
*Full UK driving licence
*Access to your own vehicle
*Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
