Secondary SEN Tutor (SEMH/ASC/ADHD) – Lambeth | £25–£35 per hour PAYE | Flexible Hours
We’re looking for a compassionate and experienced Secondary SEN Tutor to support young people across Lambeth who are unable to access mainstream education. This rewarding 1:1 outreach role involves working with students with SEMH, ASC (Autism), ADHD and anxiety, helping them re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities as a Secondary SEN Tutor*Deliver high-quality 1:1 outreach tuition to secondary-aged learners
*Support students with SEMH, ASC, ADHD, anxiety, and those at risk of exclusion
*Deliver sessions in community settings (home, library, learning hub, alternative provision)
*Adapt teaching strategies to meet emotional, behavioural, and academic needs
*Build strong, trusting relationships to improve engagement and confidence
*Monitor progress and provide feedback to families and professionals
Requirements as a Secondary SEN Tutor*Experience working with secondary-aged students with SEN, particularly SEMH and ASD/ASC
*Strong understanding of the UK secondary curriculum
*Experience in outreach tuition, alternative provision, or behaviour support (highly desirable)
*Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
*Confident working independently in community settings
