Role: HGV Technician

Location: Newmarket

Hours: Monday–Friday (07:00–16:00)

Salary: from £40,000

What will you do in the HGV Technician role?

*Carry out servicing, inspections, and MOT preparation on HGVs
*Diagnose faults and carry out repairs (engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension etc.)
*Complete job cards and service documentation using electronic systems
*Work as part of a busy, fast-paced workshop team
*Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency


What we’re looking for

*NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
*Previous experience working on commercial vehicles
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*Good IT skills and attention to detail
*A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
Desirable (not essential):

*HGV licence
*IRTEC accreditation
*Main dealer experience
