Assistant Management Accountant
Bispham (office based)
£35,000 plus study package

I’m working with a great business in Bispham who are looking to bring in an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller and play a key part in the finance function.
This is a hands-on role with real exposure across the business.


What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting monthly management accounts for multiple entities
• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Monitoring income, costs and margins
• Supporting audits and year-end
• Cashflow reporting
• VAT and regulatory returns
• Working closely with other departments
You’ll also get exposure to team oversight and step in when needed.


What they’re looking for:
• AAT qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups etc)
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Organised, proactive and able to work to deadlines
• Experience with month end close
