Sickness Absence Project Lead
Kent (on-site required)
£350 per day
12-month contract
We are supporting an NHS organisation to deliver a 12-month sickness absence reduction programme, and are seeking an experienced Project Lead to drive delivery.
This is a hands-on, operational role focused on improving grip on long-term and repeat absence, reducing duration, and supporting sustainable workforce performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead delivery of a Trust-wide sickness absence improvement programme
*Provide oversight of long-term and repeat absence case management
*Establish clear governance, reporting and performance tracking
*Work closely with HR, Finance and operational leaders
*Support and oversee a small team of Case Managers
*Identify priority areas and drive targeted interventions
Key Requirements
*Proven experience delivering workforce / HR projects within the NHS
*Strong understanding of sickness absence management
*Experience working with operational and clinical stakeholders
*Data-driven, with the ability to interpret and act on workforce metrics
*Confident operating in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
*Able to be on-site in Kent regularly
