Job Description:
Financial Adviser *Location: Ilminster, Somerset
*Salary: £35 - 50K
*Full-time / Office Based
We’re working with a well-established, independent financial planning firm based in Ilminster. They’ve built a strong reputation locally through referrals and long-term client relationships, and they’re now looking to bring another Adviser into the team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants the freedom to build their own portfolio, but within a genuinely supportive environment.
What the role looks like*Advising clients across pensions, investments and protection
*Building your own client relationships over time (with support)
*Working closely with admin and paraplanning support
*Delivering a high standard of, client-focused advice
*Being part of a small, collaborative team rather than a corporate setup
What they’re looking for*Diploma-qualified Financial Adviser
*Someone who enjoys building relationships and not just chasing numbers
*A steady, professional approach to client advice
*Comfortable developing new business, but not in a "hard sales" environment
*Someone who wants to be part of a team long-term
What’s on offer*Competitive salary with bonus/earning potential
*Proper admin and paraplanning support (you’re not doing everything yourself)
*A friendly, down-to-earth team
*Flexibility to grow your client base at a realistic pace
*A stable, well-regarded business with a strong local presence
If you’re open to a move, or just curious what a more balanced advisory role could look like - feel free to apply or drop me a message for a confidential chat.
