Electrical Site Manager | Oxford
Professional Profile: A results-driven and technically astute Electrical Site Manager with a career defined by the successful delivery of high-stakes projects within critical infrastructure and highly regulated sectors. Expert at navigating the unique complexities of pharmaceutical, healthcare, and data centre environments, where precision, sterile-process awareness, and zero-downtime requirements are paramount. Core Responsibilities*Site Leadership & Strategy: Manage all site-level elements of the project to ensure full deliverables and milestones are achieved on schedule.
*Critical Labour Management: Oversee and coordinate site supervisors, subcontractors, and direct labour teams to maintain peak productivity.
*Technical Compliance: Direct the execution of commissioning and close-out plans, ensuring all testing certification and handovers are completed to specification.
*Safety & Risk Management: Lead on-site delivery of EHSQ policies, including Toolbox talks, RAMS implementation, and the procurement of all necessary permits
*Resource & Logistics Oversight: Coordinate plant hire, tools, and day-to-day material ordering while managing the labour tracker to optimise project spend.
*Stakeholder Communications: Serve as the primary site contact for internal planning meetings and external correspondence, providing detailed progress reports and quality monitoring.
*Mentorship: Direct and train apprentices, overseeing their daily checks and delivery management to build future technical talent.
Qualifications & Expertise*Trade Certified: Fully Qualified Electrician with extensive on-site experience.
*Safety Accredited: Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
*Regulatory Compliance: Up-to-date manual handling and safe pass credentials.
*Project Management: Proficient in project-specific scheduling and the use of Document Management Systems.
*Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex changes to project teams and stakeholders effectively.
