MTrec are proudly representing our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Newcastle, who are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a successful company that really puts their employees at the heart of their business. Shift Pattern:
*Continentals
*12x hour shifts (Days/Nights)
The Job You’ll Do.
*Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using wiring diagrams and schematics.
*Troubleshoot PLC systems, specifically Siemens platforms.
*Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks (PPM).
*Install and commission new machinery and equipment.
*Identify, overhaul, and repair faults within mechanical systems.
*Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
About You;
*Minimum of a time served apprenticeship in maintenance engineering to NVQ Level 3 (Electrical bias preferable)
*PLC fault finding experience (desirable)
*A HNC or above in a relevant discipline (desirable)
*Computer literate – Microsoft Office.
*Possession of an IPAF licence, MEWP (desirable)
*FLT licence (desirable)
*Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
