Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant - PRU SettingLocation: Rochdale
Pay: £109.85 - £120 per day
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a PRU setting in Rochdale. This role involves supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour, helping them to re-engage with education in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 and small group support
*Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour
*Build positive relationships with students
*Support engagement in learning
Requirements*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
*Driver or access to a car
*Experience working with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or similar
Transferable ExperienceWe welcome candidates from backgrounds such as youth work, support work, coaching, or roles involving vulnerable young people.
