The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead on generating new business opportunities while developing and maximising existing warm client relationships.
This is a key strategic role within the business, focused on driving growth across all divisions, with a particular emphasis on Sales, Construction and Industrial (temp and perm) recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
*Proactively generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and market mapping
*Develop and convert warm leads and existing client relationships into active, revenue-generating accounts
*Identify opportunities for cross-selling Adore Recruitment services across multiple sectors
*Build long-term partnerships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and business objectives
*Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure successful delivery on roles and high levels of client satisfaction
*Attend client meetings (virtual and face-to-face) to present services and win new business
*Negotiate terms of business and commercial agreements
*Track and manage pipeline activity, ensuring consistent business development performance
*Stay up to date with market trends across Sales, Industrial, and wider recruitment sectors
*Represent the Adore Recruitment brand professionally across all interactions
About You
*Proven experience in business development within recruitment (ideally multi-sector or including industrial and/or sales recruitment)
*Strong track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
*Commercially minded with a proactive and results-driven approach
*Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
*Ability to identify opportunities and think strategically across different sectors
*Self-motivated, driven, and able to work autonomously
*Full UK driving licence as will need to visit clients
