Job Description:
Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to work within Primary Schools across Huntingdonshire and Peterborough.
About the RoleOur partner schools require caring and dedicated support staff to work 1:1 with children across a range of year groups. The needs and abilities of the children vary, and the role may involve a mix of in-class support as well as working outside the classroom in small groups or individually.
These positions begin as temporary but often progress to long-term or permanent roles, depending on school needs.
About the SchoolsThe schools we work with are welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environments.
Roles typically run from 08:30am to 15:30pm, Monday to Friday, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Daily work is consistently available.
RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Nursery Assistant – Huntingdonshire & Peterborough, you will:
*Have experience working in a school, nursery, or similar childcare setting within the last 3 years (minimum 6 months)
*Hold a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
*Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting young children
