Audit Senior | Bristol
Looking to step into an Audit Senior role where you’ll actually get exposure, responsibility, and a clear path forward - without the burnout culture?
I’m working with a highly regarded, growing independent practice in Bristol that is continuing to invest heavily in its Audit function. This is a brilliant opportunity for a newly qualified ACA/ACCA (or finalist) to join a modern, collaborative team with genuine progression on offer.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of audits from planning through to completion, working with a diverse client base across multiple sectors.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead audit planning, fieldwork and completion for a varied portfolio
*Deliver high-quality, compliant financial statements
*Identify risk areas and tailor audit approach accordingly
*Review junior staff work and ensure deadlines are met
*Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships
*Support the coaching, mentoring and development of junior team members
About You
*ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist
*Background within a UK accountancy practice audit team
*Strong understanding of audit process, risk and compliance
*Confident communicator with client-facing experience
*Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing firm
