This is a great opportunity to join a busy fashion distribution business on a 6 month FTC, based in their London office. The role will suit someone highly organised and detail-led, who enjoys owning stock accuracy and keeping inventory fully aligned across internal systems and multiple 3PL partners.
You will manage inventory day to day, ensure stock movement is tracked accurately, and take ownership of audits, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies, helping to keep UK, EU and ecommerce and wholesale stock positions correct and in sync.
Main responsibilities will include:
*Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory to meet business demand
*Working closely with internal teams and multiple 3PL stock teams to ensure stock is correct and aligned across systems
*Tracking and recording all stock movements, purchases and receipts, updating stock systems accurately
*Performing regular physical stock counts and audits and resolving discrepancies, missing stock or expired stock issues
*Making authorised stock adjustments within internal systems and ensuring partner systems remain in sync
*Managing and controlling stock transfers between internal (virtual) and external (physical) warehouses
*Investigating and resolving issues relating to stock counts, deliveries and distribution
*Ensuring back-of-house and operational compliance with company policies and procedures
Person specification:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Stock Controller role, ideally within garment warehousing
*Highly organised, accurate and confident managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
*Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience reconciling stock and interpreting data
*Confident using stock management systems and Excel, with strong general IT skills
*Clear communicator and proactive team player, comfortable working with 3PLs, logistics partners and internal stakeholders
