The Financial Accountant Role
You’ll be working across multiple ledgers, processing a high volume of journals and supporting the team in correcting historic postings. It’s a detail-driven position where accuracy and pace both matter.
Key Responsibilities for the Financial Accountant Role
*Posting large volumes of journals across multiple entities
*Processing adjustments and reclassifications to correct mispostings
*Ensuring all entries are clearly supported and documented
*Working through historic backlogs in a structured way
*Supporting with balance sheet reconciliations and clearing down items
*Assisting with bank reconciliations and transaction matching
*Pulling data and reports from the finance system as required
*Raising queries where something doesn’t look right rather than guessing
What you will bring to the Financial Accountant role
*Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
*Comfortable processing high volumes of transactional work
*Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach
*Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively
*Confident enough to ask questions and challenge where needed
*Good communication skills and able to work with different stakeholders
