Python Developer
*Inside IR35 Contract - Up to £800 per day
*3 Days per week in London
*6-Month Initial Contract (2 Years+ Project Scope)

We have partnered with a leading Commodities Trading Firm who are looking to reinforce their Development teams. You’ll be working directly with the business, to develop solutions to enhance their workflows.
Primary Responsibilities
*Design, develop and maintain their Python-based applications and automation, working closely with business users to deliver practical technical solutions.
*Translate business requirements into robust, scalable and maintainable systems, ensuring alignment with established engineering and IT standards.
*Support the adoption of a proportionate SDLC, covering design, testing, deployment, documentation and operational support.
*Implement controls, validation and auditability within applications and business processes to improve reliability, governance and compliance.
*Enhanc existing tools and delivery processes by configuring CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with platform teams to ensure secure, reliable deployment and operations.
Technical Skills
*Strong Python development experience, building production-grade applications and integrating with databases, APIs and external systems.
*Solid grounding in software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, code quality and maintainable development standards.
*Practical knowledge of DevOps and enterprise deployment environments, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerised runtimes and security controls.
