Financial Accountant - Leeds | Hybrid | 6-12 Month ContractI’m working with a growing organisation in Leeds to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 6-12 month contract. This role sits within a dynamic finance team and will play a key part in delivering high-quality accounting processes, strengthening controls, and improving management reporting across the business.


Key Responsibilities* Ownership of month-end and year-end processes
* Management reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparation of VAT returns and statutory financial statements
* Providing support during internal and external audits
* Posting routine monthly journals
* Billing of shared costs and supporting payment authorisation
* Producing regular financial reports for key stakeholders
* Supporting process improvements and strengthening financial controls
* Contributing to systems enhancements and cross-functional project work


We’re looking for an ambitious and proactive individual who can communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and work confidently with stakeholders at all levels. You’ll ideally be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or part-qualified) with solid technical accounting skills, strong analytical ability, and experience working within a similar finance role.
