Job Description:
Sales Controller
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday–Saturday (day off in week) + Sunday rota
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Controller to join a busy and successful dealership in Reading.
This is a key role within the sales team, supporting the Sales Manager in driving performance, profitability, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the Sales Manager in running the sales department
*Assist in managing and motivating a team of Sales Executives
*Help drive sales performance, volume, and profitability
*Desk deals and support with closing sales
*Monitor daily activity, enquiries, and conversions
*Assist with stock control, pricing, and margin management
*Ensure strong F&I performance and compliance
*Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI)
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Sales Controller / Senior Sales Executive
*Strong track record of achieving targets and KPIs
*Excellent sales and closing skills
*Good leadership and team support ability
*Commercial awareness with focus on profitability
*Full UK driving licence
