Description
*Assist with the preparation of management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid decision-making.
*Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
*Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
*Assist with end-of-month and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
*Manage invoices, payments, and other transactional finance activities.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support.
*Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
*Relevant qualifications or ongoing study in Accounting or Finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*An understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
*The ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
