An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive procurement professional to take ownership of supplier relationships and play a key role in supporting business operations.
The RoleYou will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of materials and services. Working closely with internal teams, you will help drive efficiency, maintain supplier performance, and support overall operational success.
Key Responsibilities*Raise and manage purchase orders in line with business requirements
*Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
*Monitor supplier performance and address any delivery or quality issues
*Proactively expedite orders to ensure continuity of supply
*Support cost reduction initiatives through negotiation and supplier benchmarking
*Work cross-functionally to ensure effective coordination across departments
*Ensure accurate data management within internal systems
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience in a Buyer / Purchasing role
*Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
*Experience working with ERP or similar systems
*Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
*Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
