A leadingFMCG business based in theWrexham area with hybrid working options are looking for a Planning Manager to join their team. As Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, driving forecast accuracy, and optimising supply chain performance. You’ll manage a team of planners and collaborate closely with key functions to deliver best-in-class service while managing cost and efficiency.




About the role:


*Lead and develop the planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
*Manage the demand and supply planning cycles to maintain optimal inventory levels.
*Partner with commercial teams to incorporate promotions, launches and seasonal activity into robust forecasts.
*Work with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure capacity is aligned with business objectives.
*Analyse data to drive decision-making, mitigate risks and resolve supply constraints.
*Implement planning best practices, tools and systems to enhance visibility and performance KPIs.
*Report key metrics including forecast accuracy, service levels, OTIF and inventory health.
About You*Proven experience in demand, supply or production planning, ideally within FMCG or another fast-paced environment.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
*Experience leading teams and driving cross-functional collaboration..
*Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
*Results-driven, proactive and able to deliver under pressure.
*SAP experience would be desirable.
*FMCG background would be preferred.
