*Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm
*Pay: From £13.75 per hour

*Sector: Secondary Education (Mainstream & ALN Support)
About the RoleAs an Interventions Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and behavioural challenges within a mainstream secondary school setting.
You will play a key role in helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally, working closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver targeted interventions.
This role is ideal for someone who is:

Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ALN
*Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions
*Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
*Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
*Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Follow all safeguarding and child protection policies
*Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
*Adapt to changing classroom and pupil needs
RequirementsTo be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you must:
*Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
*Hold a Child Workforce DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
*Provide 2 professional references covering the last 24 months
*Demonstrate resilience and confidence managing challenging behaviour
