Job Description:
We are recruiting for a newly qualified Employment Law Solicitor to join this growing team based in Northampton.
The successful candidate will take on a diverse case load including SME’s, OMB’s and listed companies and will also act for employees.
Your days will all e different and you will provide expert legal advice and representation on employment law matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safeguarding clients’ interests.
Duties
*Assist with modern slavery compliance
*Support with a variety of projects including company restructures, changes to terms and conditions of employment contracts and large scale redundancies
*Provide advice for disputes and HR matters
*Support with data protection compliance
*Represent client is employment tribunals
Joining the team as a newly qualified solicitor will mean that the role will grow with you, allowing for personal and professional development and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with other departments.
Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor with specialising or significant experience in employment law
*Proven negotiation skills to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
*Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
