US PI Underwriter

£100,000 - £140,000 + bonus
A growing international insurance business is seeking an additional head to join its highly successful and profitable US PI team.
The role will entail underwriting new and existing Professional Indemnity insurance business emanating from North America. Building relationships with US PI Brokers will be a key part of the role. This is a well written book with excellent loss ratios, so high underwriting standards are expected.
Experience in underwriting US Professional Liability business is essential, whether this is in a narrow vertical or across multiple professions. The role would suit either an Underwriter looking to step up to Senior, or a recently promoted Senior, not looking to manage in the near future. This will give the team a nice spread of experience, in addition to giving the successful candidate room to grow in time..
