Location: Hybrid within the UK with the expectation to travel to London Office monthly.

Senior Pricing Analyst: We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Saga Home Affinity Pricing team as a Senior Pricing Analyst. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with data, solving complex problems, and influencing decisions that drive business performance.
You’ll help shape our pricing strategy by analysing performance trends, building advanced statistical models, and working closely with colleagues across the business. Your insight will directly support our goal of delivering fair pricing, sustainable growth and great customer outcomes. You’ll also play an important role in sharing knowledge and strengthening pricing capability across the team.

Main Responsibilities as a Senior Pricing Analyst:
*Building and maintaining accurate datasets for pricing, modelling and performance monitoring
*Developing and enhancing pricing and predictive models, including machine learning techniques
*Producing clear, insightful pricing analysis and presenting options to senior stakeholders
*Supporting the deployment of pricing changes into live environments with accuracy and control
*Monitoring trading, loss ratio and market trends to support data driven pricing decisions
*Collaborating with teams across Ageas, sharing insight and contributing to continuous improvement
Skills and experience you need as a Senior Pricing Analyst::
*A degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Science
*Experience in insurance pricing or another analytical field
*Strong skills in data manipulation and statistical analysis, using tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, R, Emblem, Radar or Databricks
*Experience with predictive modelling methods, such as GLMs, GBMs, GAMs, Random Forests, or similar techniques
*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
*A collaborative, curious mindset, with the ability to communicate technical insight clearly to different audiences
