Early Years Practitioner - Private Nursery, Leeds (Flexible Hours Available)

This nursery is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere, fantastic outdoor space, and a strong focus on enriching children’s experiences through a wide range of extra activities. It’s a setting where creativity, outdoor learning, and child-led exploration are at the heart of everything they do-making it a fantastic place to work and grow.
We are keen to hear from both qualified practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) and unqualified candidates who have relevant childcare experience and a genuine passion for working with young children. Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, or flexible ad-hoc work, this role can be tailored to suit your lifestyle.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You will support children’s learning and development through engaging indoor and outdoor activities, helping to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities, including outdoor learning
Promote children’s development, confidence, and wellbeing
Assist with observations and contribute to learning journeys where appropriate
Build positive relationships with staff, children, and families
Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times
What We’re Looking For
Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or relevant childcare experience (for unqualified applicants)
A positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for early years development
Basic understanding of EYFS and safeguarding, or willingness to learn
