The Role
The firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join its residential property team. The successful candidate will support fee earners in managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with all stages of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
*Drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence
*Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents
*Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
*Managing case files and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
*Assisting with post-completion work, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
*Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team
Requirements
*Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential conveyancing (paralegal or similar role)
*Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
*Excellent communication and client care skills
*High level of attention to detail and organisational ability
*Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
*Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
