Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly capable, qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) for a short-term, 3-month assignment. This hands-on role is focused on delivering accurate management accounts, supporting month-end close, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works efficiently, and can immediately add value.
Key Responsibilities*Prepare and review monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
*Assist with budget monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.
*Support month-end close and financial reporting processes.
*Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and insights as required.
*Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and financial policies.
*Contribute to process improvements within the finance function where appropriate.
Person SpecificationQualifications:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
Experience:
*Proven experience in hands-on management accounting within a medium-to-large business.
*Comfortable managing tight deadlines and working independently.
*Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
*Practical, results-oriented, and efficient approach.
*Clear communicator, able to present financial information to internal stakeholders.
*Able to quickly understand business operations and financial drivers.
