Great opportunity to join a highly productive, busy retail payroll team. This is a close-knit operation with end to end processing, team leader responsibility and system ownership.

Description
Payroll Senior
*Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
*Supervise a small team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency in payroll operations.
*Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
*Maintain and update payroll systems and records to reflect current employee information and legislative changes.
*Handle payroll queries and provide timely resolutions to employee concerns.
*Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax and pension contributions.
*Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to relevant stakeholders.
*Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
Profile
A successful Payroll Senior should have:
*A strong background in payroll management (team lead responsibility) as well as end to end processing
*Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
*Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
*Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
*Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
Job Offer

*Salary offering: c. £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
*4 days typically in the office with 1 day working from home
*Watford based business - easily accessible via public transport as well as ample parking on site
*Study support post probation
*25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
