The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its busy residential conveyancing team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload and play a key role in delivering a high standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
*Advising clients on a range of transactions, including:
*Sales of residential property
*Purchases of residential property
*Remortgages
*Shared ownership transactions
*New build properties
*Transfers of equity
*Leasehold transactions
*Buy-to-let purchases
*Property auctions
*Lease extensions and variations
*First registrations and title updates
*Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation
*Conducting title investigations, searches, and due diligence
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
*Ensuring matters progress efficiently and are completed within required timescales
*Maintaining excellent standards of client care and communication
*Supporting colleagues within the team where appropriate
Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor or experienced Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential property
*Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters
*Proven ability to independently manage a busy and varied caseload
*Excellent communication and client care skills
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving approach
