Description
*Handle daily banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Reconcile client and office accounts in compliance with regulations.
*Manage the processing of payments, including BACS and cheque transactions.
*Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
*Monitor and report on cash flow to support business operations.
*Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
*Maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Provide support to the wider accounting and finance department as needed.
Profile
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
*Previous experience in a legal cashiering or similar finance role.
*Strong understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
*A professional attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
Job Offer
