Are you a CAD Technician with AutoCAD knowledge, looking to work on technically complex engineering projects with full training in specialist waterproofing and drainage systems?
On offer is the opportunity to join a leading engineering consultancy specialising in structural waterproofing, basements, podium decks, blue and green roofs, and sustainable drainage systems. With a strong reputation across the UK and internationally, the company delivers detailed, buildable designs on high-value and technically challenging projects.
In this role, you will produce high-quality 2D drawings and coordinated CAD packages for a wide range of engineering applications. You will work on detailed construction information for below-ground structures, roof drainage systems, and podium decks, where precision and coordination are critical. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, translating technical inputs such as sketches, calculations, and marked-up drawings into clear, buildable designs.
This role would suit a CAD Technician with AutoCAD knowledge looking for structured training and clear progression into senior positions and specialist qualifications.
The Role:
*Producing detailed CAD drawings including GA plans, sections, and construction details
*Developing waterproofing layouts, drainage designs, and setting out information
*Coordinating drawings with architects and structural engineers across multiple projects
*Managing drawing revisions through all project stages while supporting internal technical standards and libraries
The person:
*HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, with CAD experience in construction (civil, structural, architectural, or roofing).
*Commutable to Warrington
