Science Teacher – Secondary School in SalfordLocation: Salford, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time
Pay Scale: M1 – UPS1 (paid in line with teaching scale)
Join the thriving Science Department of a large secondary school in Salford, supporting pupils aged 11–16. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Science teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
Role OverviewThe successful Science teacher will:
*Teach a full timetable across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
*Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons
*Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning abilities
*Monitor pupil progress and report outcomes to the Science department
*Contribute to the wider school community with a proactive, professional approach
Candidate RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have:
*QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
*Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
*Strong classroom management and communication skills
Both experienced teachers and ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are encouraged to apply. Full induction, support, and ongoing development will be provided.
