Job Description:
Meraki Talent is delighted to be supporting a growing international recreation firm on their search for a qualified, part qualified or QBE accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will support the finance manager in the preparation of management and year end accounts as well as assisting across the finance team. Duties to include:
*Support the production of monthly management reports, including commentary and variance analysis
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Prepare journals at month end accruals, deferrals, and adjustments
*Maintain and monitor balances for trade receivables and payables, producing regular reports
*Manage supplier settlements, including scheduled payment runs and one-off payments
*Complete VAT submissions
*Assist with year-end audit
*Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, systems, and reporting processes, making recommendations where appropriate
What is on Offer:
*Up to £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
*Full or part time hours

Candidate Profile:
*Management accounts experience
*Qual, PQ or QBE considered
*Proficient Microsoft Office and accounts software SAGE/XERO or similar
