Internal Communications Officer
Permanent | 30 hours per week (across five days)
East Sussex – some travel required


Tony Alan is partnering with an award-winning, growing national organisation to recruit an Internal Communications Officer. As part of the People Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how colleagues connect and communicate. You’ll take ownership of the internal communications platform—particularly the All Company community—creating engaging, people-focused content that brings culture to life, promotes wellbeing and inclusion, and ensures employees feel informed, heard, and connected.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead and manage the All Company community as the primary administrator and content owner
*Deliver impactful internal communications campaigns that spotlight achievements, business updates, and key initiatives
*Work across teams to uncover stories and ensure communications reflect real employee experiences
*Partner with marketing, editorial, and operational teams to deliver clear, consistent messaging
*Champion best practice in internal communications through guidance, training, and support
*Use engagement data and insights to continuously improve content and channels
*Support recruitment activity by promoting opportunities and maintaining engaging careers content
About you:
You’ll bring experience from a communications-focused role (HR, marketing, or similar), with a strong track record of creating engaging content. You’re a confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, a natural storyteller, and a passion for colleague engagement. You’re also data-driven, using insights to refine and enhance your approach
