Project Manager - Warehouse Start-Up
Location: Derby (Midlands-based, field role)

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a major warehouse start-up for a growing ecommerce and retail client. This field-based role covers the full project lifecycle-from design and build through to go-live and early-life support-working across multiple sites.
You’ll join a collaborative, supportive team with flexible working and real scope to make an impact on a high-profile logistics project.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage full project lifecycle: design, build, testing, go-live, and closure
*Develop and maintain detailed project plans and documentation
*Track milestones, risks, budgets, and dependencies
*Lead project meetings and stakeholder communications
*Coordinate cross-functional teams and workstreams
*Support reviews, reporting, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience delivering complex, warehousing start and fit out projects
*Strong Microsoft Project and documentation skills
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
*Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
*Experience in warehousing in ecommerce or retail (preferred)
*Exposure to WMS implementations or continuous improvement (advantageous)
