Waste Management Supervisor - LeicesterRate: £16.08 per hour (umbrella) | Schedule: 1 in 3 weekends
We are looking for a Waste Management Supervisor to oversee waste transfer station and haulage operations. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:*Supervise HGV drivers and waste operatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and health & safety.
*Plan rotas, schedules, and logistics for smooth site operations.
*Maintain accurate records and manage performance through staff reviews.
*Provide training, inductions, and toolbox talks to team members.
*Coordinate with contractors, fleet teams, and site stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:*Administration (rotas, schedules, filing, emailing).
*Microsoft Word & Excel (beginner-intermediate).
*Logical thinking, planning, and eye for detail.
*Supervision experience in waste or haulage operations.
*Full driving licence; HGV licence or willingness to work towards.
