Freelance AV Technician - ManchesterDay Rate: £210
Location: Onsite (Manchester)
Contract: Freelance / Ad-hoc support
About the RoleMy client is looking for an experienced Freelance AV Technician to provide onsite support across their Manchester offices. This is a hands-on technical role delivering high-quality meeting room support, preventative maintenance and break/fix services.
Key Responsibilities*Provide onsite AV/IT support across meeting rooms and collaboration spaces
*Deliver meeting room setup, live event assistance, and technical troubleshooting
*Carry out preventative maintenance on AV systems to ensure optimal performance
*Respond to and resolve break/fix issues efficiently and professionally
*Liaise with internal teams and external vendors when required
*Maintain accurate logs, reports and equipment documentation
Essential Skills & Experience*Strong background in AV systems, including videoconferencing (Teams, Zoom), displays, DSPs, microphones, control systems etc.
*Confident supporting users in fast-paced corporate environments
*Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
*Professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach
*Ability to work independently on a freelance basis
