Senior Software Engineer (Regulatory Technology)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in Axiom ControllerView (AxiomSL) and SQL to join our team for a two-year engagement. This role is central to the design, development, and operational excellence of our regulatory reporting ecosystem. You will be responsible for building auditable data pipelines and implementing complex regulatory logic within a high-stakes enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Axiom Development: Design, configure, and maintain end-to-end regulatory reporting solutions utilizing the Axiom ControllerView platform.
*Data Engineering: Build and optimize high-performance SQL-based data transformations, ensuring rigorous validation and reconciliation processes.
*Pipeline Management: Develop robust data workflows that adhere to strict regulatory, audit, and control standards.
*Technical Translation: Convert complex business and regulatory mandates into scalable technical architectures.
*System Support: Facilitate platform upgrades, manage deployments, and provide expert-level troubleshooting for production environments.
*Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborating closely with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders to ensure continuous delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
*Platform Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Axiom ControllerView (workflows, configurations, and object design).
*Database Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills with a proven ability to query and transform large, complex datasets.
*Domain Knowledge: Solid experience within Regulatory Technology or financial reporting sectors.
*Technical Rigor: Deep understanding of data quality controls, data lineage, and general data engineering principles.
*Methodology: Proven trackable success working within an Agile delivery model.
Preferred Qualifications
*Regulatory Frameworks: Familiarity with Basel III/IV, Liquidity (LCR/NSFR), Capital, or standard Financial Reporting.
*Programming & Automation: Exposure to Python, Java, or enterprise scheduling and automation tools.
*Operational History: Prior experience supporting and stabilizing live production regulatory platforms.
