Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Bricklayer’s Mate to join a busy construction site in Liverpool. The successful candidate will support bricklayers and site trades, assist with materials, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
This role is ideal for someone with site experience who is physically fit, dependable, and keen to progress within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
*Assisting bricklayers with day-to-day tasks
*Mixing mortar to the correct consistency
*Loading and unloading bricks, blocks, and materials
*Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
*Moving materials around site as required
*Supporting general site labouring duties
*Following health & safety procedures at all times
*Taking instructions from site supervisors and tradesmen
Requirements
*Valid CSCS Card (essential)
*Previous experience as a labourer or bricklayer’s mate preferred
*Good understanding of site health & safety
*Physically fit and capable of manual handling
*Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
*Ability to work well as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential)
*Experience working on residential or commercial builds
*PPE (Safety boots, hi-vis & helmet)
