Location: North London
Rate of pay: £45.20 per hour
Working Arrangements: Full-time

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Early Years SEND Manager to join a local authority in North London, supporting the delivery of high-quality services for children aged 0–5 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is a key role supporting the Head of Service, ensuring the Local Authority meets its statutory duties under the Education Act 1996, Children and Families Act 2014, and the SEND Code of Practice.
You will lead on early years SEND provision, driving inclusion, supporting settings, and ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.

Key responsibilities:
*Lead and manage Early Years SEND provision across the borough
*Line manage Early Years SEND Development Advisers
*Oversee and manage the Early Years Inclusion Fund (up to £800k)
*Support and challenge early years settings, schools, and childminders to deliver inclusive practice
*Provide expert advice, assessment support, and early intervention strategies
*Deliver training to practitioners, teachers, and SENCos
*Promote and implement SEND best practice across all settings
*Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks and timescales
*Build strong multi-agency partnerships across education, health, and social care
*Support transitions and monitor progress for children with SEND
*Engage effectively with parents and carers to promote positive outcomes
Requirements:
*Extensive experience working with children aged 0–5 with SEND
*Strong knowledge of early childhood development and SEND legislation
*Experience managing staff and leading services
*Proven ability to deliver training and support practitioners
*Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills
*Experience working with families and multi-agency professionals
